The hormonal imbalance due to the high level of insulin results in smooth menstrual cycle. Also the too much presence of LH (Luteinising hormone) than FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) increases the production of testosterone (male hormone) than oestrogen (female hormone) and too much presence of testosterone in females body prevents ovulation. Infrequent or irregular periods and obesity are often some symptoms of PCOS. Other symptoms may include like problems in conceiving, depression, growth of extra hair on your face and chest and oily skin or acne etc. Unfortunately there is no sure and successful treatment available for PCOS but by follow some precautions, you can help to cope with its symptoms. In case you are overweight, even a small amount of weight loss can help your ovulation. Just by losing 5-10% of weight, you can make it easier to conceive. As per the studies, losing weight via some lifestyle changes can make you able to get pregnant. Even though with PCOS losing weight is not as easy as it is said. The greatest challenge you may face in reducing your weight with PCOS will be the psychological changes and hormonal disruption occur in your body. Your reducing weight will also reduce the risks of miscarriage as well. Losing body weight is extremely rewarding in case of PCOS and it is easily attempted by the .bination of change in diet and physical exercise. Here you dont need to do vigorous physical activity, but a moderate will do good effect on your fertility. Additionally you need to make some changes in your diet which includes a low calorie and balanced diet.
